We’re Inspired By These Instagrammers Bold #ootd Backdrops

GS LOVE / June 15, 2016

You may be obsessed with showing off your carefully crafted looks on Instagram, but you haven’t truly mastered the art of the #OOTD post until you’ve discovered that it’s not just about what you wear, but where you take the picture.

We’re thinking colorful backdrops that add to your Insta story. With that in mind, we’ve searched through Instagram feeds to find five Instagrammers that are doing #ootd posts right, with bold colors and an eye for all things fun and pretty.

Take a scroll…

1.) Rosie Clayton

When she’s not pursuing a career in hospitality, Rosie Clayton is giving us all sorts of #ootd inspiration in her Instagram feed. Styled with laid back, Chicago style fashion against bold, fun backdrops, Rosie’s eye shows us the beauty in simplicity.

Nicolette Mason

L.A native Nicolette lives a bi-coastal lifestyle, frequently flying from L.A. to NYC and documenting her travels in a carefully curated feed. When she’s not penning for fashion mags or for her blog, she’s giving her Instagram followers all sorts of lovelies. Our fave so far, this pop-aroma post right here.

3.) Tiffany Pratt

Tiffany lives up to her nickname of the fairy godmother of color. As a designer and artist, she injects colour into all of her surroundings. Most recently, she’s joined the HGTV “Home to win” team taking auction finds and transforming them into works of art. Take a color course from Tiffany to transform your 3X3 life board into a jewel as well.

4.) Sophie Loghman

This Atlanta based grammer has an affection for all things that pop, including over-sized smiling faces, flamingos, and more flamingos. Because over-sized anything is always better.

🎶Because I'm happyyyyy…!🎶🙂🎈

5.) Kaylyn Weir

If you scroll down her feed a tad you’ll see that Kaylyn Weir’s feed has gone through quite a bit of color transformations. From brown-white, to glitter and white, to white with touches of red, Weir’s feed currently rests as a visual homage to bold color combinations. Her inspiration draws from a patio deck to a perfectly arranged plate of fruit to rainbow sushi. Yes, rainbow sushi.
