As you may all know the beauty Industry has made its way to the top and we certainly don’t want to stay behind. While we are on the lookout for the newest products, we also want to stay on top of our makeup game. Here are some beauty hacks that will save your life.
Correct Those Undertones!
Concealer does not only come in a nude color. Using Green and Orange concealers can help correct an uneven skin tone. Green concealer can tone down any acne marks or redness. Hide all the dark spots with an orange concealer, blend away and you are ready to apply foundation to finish your daily makeup.
Apply Bronzer in “3” Shape for a Quick Contour
Bronzer shouldn’t go all over your face but we know you want that flawless look.Apply it in a shape of a “3” so that you get your forehead, cheekbones, and jawline. This is also a quick contour trick that does not require your favorite contour palette.
Your Brows Are Too Squared
Fill your brows the right way! We all want to make our eyebrows look darker and natural. When filling your brows, make sure you don’t make them look unnatural. Using tiny hair-like strokes whether you use a pencil or angled brush can help you achieve a more natural brow shape.
The Perfect Winged Eyeliner
We all know how hard it can be to get that perfectly shaped symmetrical winged eyeliner. Using dots can help you know what the angle should be or where the line ends.Decide where you want the dots to be,draw a small line from the dot inward to connect them to the liner at your lash line and you’re done!
Get A Heart Shape Face
This Valentines be all about love from your date to your face! Contour the sides of your cheeks for a heart shape face. Start by creating balance between the wider upper half of your face and the more narrow lower half. Contour along the sides of your forehead and temples, then beginning from your ears, work your way to the middle of your cheeks. Don’t forget the small area under your chin to soften the point. Highlighting is key as it will make your heart shape face glow.
February… the LOVE month. The season of hearts, reds (the color and the drink 😉), and chocolates which some people are so enthusiastic about. For others, however, it may seem a bit too mushy.
Whatever mood you’re in, we’ll give you some tips on how to spend your weekend!
1 – “ME-TIME”
Treat yourself with a good body massage and pamper yourself from head to toe. Take some alone time and indulge yourself! You deserve it. 💕
2 – BESTIES AND NIGHTIES
Binge watching with the BFFs! Gather some of the greatest chick flicks and rom-coms, fill up with popcorn, chips, chocolates, and milkshakes for a cuddly, stay-in fun!
3 – RSVP
Throw a party! Celebrate how much you love (or hate) Valentine’s Day, with the heart piñata, minus the drama.
4 – RESERVATION FOR TWO SIX
A date night never gets old. Reserve a classic, romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant. Who said it has to be only for two? Set up a date with your friends and/or family. Get dolled up and enjoy a delightful dinner.
Remember, February is all about LOVE – not only for that special someone, but also love for yourself, friends and family. Have fun, relax and enjoy!

A lot has happened this weekend from The SAG Awards to the highly anticipated production of Grease: Live.
The 22nd annual SAG Awards took place in Los Angeles last Saturday and it was full of couture fashion, cast reunions, and a Leo & Kate Winslet reunion. They just get cuter and cuter together!

There were a lot of winners like the cast of Orange Is The New Black for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series. It’s so amazing to see such a diverse cast win with a show that displays different ages, ethnicities, and sizes. Other winners included the handsome Leonardo DiCaprio, Idris Elba, Queen Latifah, and Viola Davis to name a few.
Here are some of our favorite looks from the red carpet. Enjoy!
Grease Live sure did put on a show this past Sunday! Even if you are more of a fan of the original, you gotta give it up to the cast for slaying with the choreography and performances. The sets and costumes were on point adding their own flare.
Now lets give it up to Vanessa Hudgens who gave her best performance yet.
Many didn’t know that her father had passed away just a day before the show. If that isn’t strength I don’t know what is! We can only imagine all those feeling she had from losing such an important person in her life and then having to give it her all for a live show. Props to her and our condolences to Vanessa and her family.
Many celebrities praised the cast via Twitter like Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Ashley Tisdale, and Victoria Justice. It’s always hard to compare yourself to such an iconic film, but Grease: Live lived up to the challenge.
Bright, Bold, and Beautifully Curvy is now all the rage at Mattel.
On January 28, Mattel released three new body types in addition to the Original: Petite, Tall, and—wait for it—Curvy. Each one is available in different skin and hair color combinations, and many have a flatfooted option (in case a lifetime of heels ain’t your thing). “By introducing more variety into the line, Barbie is offering girls choices that are better reflective of the world they see today. The new 2016 Barbie Fashionistas collection includes 4 body types, 7 skin tones, 18 eye colors, 18 hairstyles, and countless on-trend fashions and accessories,” as addressed on Mattel’s website. This is a big step in the direction we would like our young children to grow up in. Getting them acclimated in a world that is diverse and excepting of all shapes, color, size and gender.
This is just a clear sign that Curve is taking over the fashion world in 2016 and the years to come. Ashley Graham is a clear example of that, strutting down the runway showing off her curves and confidence. Ashley Neil Timpton proved it by winning Project Runway season 14 with a plus line. It’s about time we embrace and celebrate every type of body.
We had some fun re-creating some of our favorite Barbie’s outfits!
As for us, we give Mattel 5 stilettos for being fabulously fashion forward.
